Edgerunners Hypes director appeared with New Art

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners The series has arrived and is receiving some amazing praise from both reviewers and the animation community. With the TV show created by Studio TRIGGER, who has worked on beloved anime projects including Promare, Kill la Kill and Star Wars: VisionsThe series’ director, Hiroyuki Imaishi, has shared new art for David’s new cast in celebration of the anime’s arrival.

The official TRIGGER studio account on Twitter shared this amazing new artwork by director Imaishi, showing David and the new crew he created after discovering some of the advanced technologies that give him the abilities that allow him to move at the speed of light and make him valuable. Assets within the Underworld Operation:

In our review of EdgerunnersNote the sparkling animation used to bring this new tale to life in the Cyberpunk universe:

“There are some really amazing visuals along the way and TRIGGER can pick them up easily. Series like Cowboy Bebop And the star outlaw They were able to surround their characters with amazing technology while making their heroes connectable and making their technology seem ordinary at the same time. Edgerunners excel at this, allowing the unusual feel to be down to earth. The animation here is as lively and exciting as necessary for a story involving androids leaving behind light versions of themselves while holding a gun bigger than their arm, reminded us of images from the classic anime movie Redline When watching some of the battles shown here.”

If you’re not familiar with the story of David trying to navigate his way through the underworld of this technologically advanced future, Netflix has shared the following official description of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners:

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners It tells a 10-episode stand-alone story about a street kid trying to survive in a city of the future obsessed with technology and body modification. Having everything to lose, he chooses to survive by becoming an edgerunner – an outlaw mercenary also known as a cyberpunk.”
